Decent, but poorly renovated and...

Liked: Location was awesome! Clean room and pretty comfortable bed.
Disliked: Looks nice but very poorly renovated. The bathroom's heavy glass door was breaking away from the frame when I arrived. Spent the whole time worried it would break. The wall behind the bed appears to be more of a permanent room divider than a wall. Very loud because of this, no sound dampening insulation. Not a con if you know what to expect but when I booked I thought it was just a normal hotel room with the option of self check in because of their poor advertising, but there's no staff and you MUST use sonder's website or app to check in online and get a code to enter into the doors for entry. Without expecting this, it is very strange. I also received a fraud alert from booking.com, as I was asked to reenter my credit card info. I don't know if it was on booking or sonder's end but be careful when booking here. I was lucky enough not to be stuck with any super significant issues, but I would've cancelled if it was refundable and wouldn't book again at any of their locations. Customer service for the issue was virtually non existent.

Montreal visit - charming location,...

Liked: Location was fantastic - super clean room. Never saw staff (no need to). Amazing shower. Comfy bed. heaps of storage (was not required, but drawers/cupboards were available). Check in was seamless with clear instructions on how to access the building/floor. Plenty of good places to get a bite of food, or drink nearby. This was the second time using Sonder apartments - so coming into this trip, it was a little bit of a risk for me not knowing what to expect, but it was a positive experience. This place in Montreal was great
Disliked: There was a TV, but no channels available. TV was there for chromecast purposes (effectively worthless for an international traveller where streaming apps are geo-blocked. That was the only negative for me, but its not like I was sitting for long times in a apartment

Disliked: We couldn’t get access to the TV. Also the personal no response at our complaint. Finally, we figure out the situation.

Liked: Great location. Great design.
Disliked: There really should be two bedside tables, with two lamps.The overhead lighting was too strong, and didn't flatter the room.

Liked: The location in Old Montreal and price was exceptional. The bed was so comfortable and the instructions for getting in were easy.
Disliked: The room was very clean, but there is no shower mat and the water from the shower keeps flooding the bathroom. The room was very basic (no kettle, microwave or extras).
