Liked: Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at Sonder Rideau. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay.Pros:Cleanliness: The room was impeccably clean, both upon check-in and throughout our stay.Internet: Wi-Fi worked perfectly, without any interruptions or disconnections.Amenities: The room had everything we needed for our stay, including dishes, a kettle, a hairdryer, a refrigerator, etc. All equipment was in working order.Staff: The hotel staff was friendly and courteous, always ready to help.
Disliked: Cons:Dispensers: The only downside was that the shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower did not work.

Liked: It's incredibly comfortable and has everything you need for cooking, which is very important to me. Cleanliness is also a top priority, and this place is a 10/10 in that regard. The bed is also wonderfully cozy.
Disliked: The only downside is that my room doesn't offer a nice view.

No temperature control!

Liked: Location was great and ease of access
Disliked: This building advertises heat and air conditioning . This is FALSE. We had no temperature control. Our room was extremely hot when we arrived and with the fan running on what was supposed to be cold for 10 hours overnight it only got hotter. The front staff advised us the landlord had not switched the building to AC yet and there was nothing they could do. We did not sleep the first night due to heat and had to take cold showers and have ice packs on our bodies to cool down! Ridiculous! When we went to the desk a second time we were offered a fan and again told nothing they could do. The staff were kind and apologetic but they could not help.The place was good otherwise but we would not book again or recommend based on an uncomfortable experience and not having any temperature control !!

Amazing hotel that is seriously...

Liked: I had never heard of Sonder before and I am so glad I tried their hotel. The location was great! Near all the tourist attractions, University of Ottawa, the Rideau Centre, and tons of food options on Elgin. The O-Train wasn't too far. All the staff were super friendly. Security was also top notch. As a solo female traveller I felt so safe even being downtown. My friends who visited were also very impressed.
Disliked: The shower wasn't the cleanest but it was still better than other hotels I have been too. The gym was also a bit lacking. Most of the machines (treadmills, ellipticals, and the one bike) were turned off at least once. The pully on the weight machine also snapped mid workout.

Liked: The location is great! It's near the main sights and you can visit everything by walk.The app with the digital key is very convenient.The self checkin very easy.
Disliked: Everything was good... No usb plug at the room
