Disliked: Access codes were unavailable for the second room booking via app. Meaning very delayed check in

Liked: zero
Disliked: on check in we were left standing at the check in desk. A sign said gone for 30mins. On 30 minutes return the staff member then couldn't check us in straight away insisted we downloaded an app. then after 20 minutes checked us in manually. went to our rooms and the electronic code didn't work . whole hotel is set up without customer in mind. more about keeping over heads down. I swear the staff tutted at us at least 6 times

Worst hotel experience ever

Disliked: It was my worst experience at a hotel in my whole life. Several booking mistakes from Sonder / Marriot led to this hotel charging us twice for 2 rooms. As of today, one month after the check out, we have only been refunded one of the extra bookings, of circa 1.000£. As for the other room that they charged twice, no refund has been made. And not only this, they witheld around 800£ as deposit (which makes no sense when you pay in advance, upon check out), for around 1 week. They keep asking us to be patient while their “supervisory team” works it out. I strongly recommend not to go to this place.

Very pleasant and comfortable hotel...

Liked: Large comfortable room with large modern bathroom and a small kitchen with a stove and refrigerator. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Located in a very nice residential neighborhood with several restaurants and shopping. 10 minute walk to the South Kensington Underground. 15 minutes to museums, Hyde Park, and Harrods.
Disliked: Continental breakfast got a little repetitive after a few days.

Liked: The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, it was very peaceful and the staff were extremely helpful
Disliked: When I booked, it said ground floor but it turned out to be a basement room with no windows. However, when we raised the issue, they were very helpful and moved us to another room with window.

A great location and reasonable...

Liked: The location in a quiet street within walking distance of South Kensington tube station was great. The room was clean and as a Superior Queen was the right size for overseas travellers with medium size suitcases. The power shower was good. The entry code system worked well even though you had to kneel down to see the numbers on the door handle. The reception staff were very helpful, extra supplies e.g. soap, tea, towels etc were readily available and we could store luggage on our departure day.
Disliked: The frosted glass door on the bathroom didn't aid privacy and the bathroom light obviously lit up the bedroom in the middle of the night. We only had one bedside light and the main light was intermittent. The continental breakfast was adequate but some cereal would have been good.

Disliked: letting us know about when the rooms get cleaned we were unsure of when this was being done. we do agree that rooms do not need to be done every day but you need to tell us your rota
