Liked: Hotels like this are becoming rarer and rarer, replaced by soulless chains, and we are in a poorer place for it.The Somerton House Hotel is as full of character, charm and beauty as the surrounding area. Im in a superior double room (no 6), and its lovely. The fixtures and fittings in the room are of an age, and I hope they never change them. The bathroom is modern.Service is exemplary, personal, attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, not rushed, and I never felt like I was sat waiting.Considering Im here for work, Ive enjoyed my stay, and I hope I get to return soon.
