Great facilities in the centre...

Liked: Great central location a short walk from the main train station. Lovely decor and art exhibits throughout. The staff were welcoming and lovely views from the top floor cocktail bar. We both agreed that the bed was probably the comfiest we have ever experienced- it was like sleeping in clouds!

Lovely hotel, great staff, just...

Liked: The room was nicely appointed. The bed super comfy. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of foods. It was in a pretty good location, fairly central but had to walk uphill to get there. Staff were attentive and helpful.
Disliked: It was a little hard to find the front entrance. We stayed there on a weekend when there was a soccer game and there were hundreds of very drunk male supporters spilling out of the pub across the road and staying at the hotel. It felt very volatile walking to the hotel and we had a very uncomfortable experience in the lift. I am not sure the hotel can do anything about that but it would be worth checking there is no soccer on when you stay there.

Liked: It is in my opinion an average 4 star hotel based on central European standards. Nothing less, nothing more. Too many "little things"
Disliked: It is advertised as 5*Unfortunately nowhere near to a real 5* hotel. E.g. breakfast has couple of very good things and others are at best mediocre in quality.Also, nice restaurant at top and in inner yard - however not ideal with children as at some nights music played (it does shut down at 10 though, but for toddlers that is quite late)The elevator situation (one is not enough)So no absolute downfall anywhere but overall as I said. 4 stars ok. But why it states as 5* is not clear to me and I find that misleading
