Disliked: No view but didnt matter, only there one night to be close to hospital admissions the next day

Only minor issues and worth...

Liked: The central location with all pros and cons. It's not easy to find the access to the small car park requiring to drive on the bus lane and watching out for a potential bus behind you while looking for the entrance to the car park. Better Signage would be helpful, particularly when booking at the first time. However, the provided description about parking was great and helpful - just hard to find the access on that busy road.My apartment was clean and tidy and OK for a short stay (one night). The staff was extremely friendly and supportive. Maybe I only picked the wrong room. With the overall experience I made, I would consider this accommodation for another stay giving it a second choice.
Disliked: The disability bathroom was of good size, but the shower curtain could not avoid the water escaping from the shower area. The vanity was a joke as far too small although the size of this bathroom would easily allow for a proper vanity and shelving. However, it might be a requirement for a disability bathroom for people who are depended on a wheelchair. I would have appreciated to be informed about this room/bathroom. However, I must admit that the receptionist called me shortly after my arrival to check if everything was OK with my room, which I confirmed. At this time, I hadn't realized, the small vanity "issue". So, apart from the difficulties to find the car park access and the described bathroom "issues" everything else was good. As mentioned before, I would definitely give it another go next time I need a clean and tidy accommodation relatively close to Wellingtons CBD and Waterfront.

An unexpectedly good overnight stay

Liked: Everything was excellent, except we couldn't manage to get the heating working (entirely our own fault) so spent rather a cold night. The desk staff were very obliging, especially when I wanted to take a bottle of wine to a friend and the night manager lent me a very nice wine bag to carry it in! The parking at the supermarket wasn't too far away and it was good to know the parking there was locked at night. When we stay in Wellington we usually leave our vehicle parked the whole time and take taxis, so when I asked if it was possible to go across the road to the hospital to get a taxi the desk staff ordered one to the door. very nice on a wet cold night! Thank you Sojourn Hotel, we will be back.
