Amazing stay for mother-daughter and...

Liked: The service was stellar, more than exceptional. The concierge went above and beyond our expectations.
Disliked: The restaurant staff on Tuesday and Wednesday was very standoffish. Not much attention to detail or to clients. It felt like they were detached from it all and did not care. The service was not bad, but paled in comparison with the hotel experience. On Thursday, the restaurant staff was much better at paying attention to their tables and much better service.

We will NOT return.

Disliked: For a suite in a top class hotel the executive suite was the size of a regular hotel room in all the hotels in which I’ve stayed.Asked for toilet tissue at the concierge desk as there was barely any. It never arrived. Had my husband ask again the next day . I had incurred an injury and needed rest so he stated that we MUST NOT be disturbed. So of course the maid bangs on the door and wakes me up!!! Maybe this could have been taken care of when we asked for it.I could go on and on but why bother?Thanks for a rather interesting experience.

Disappointing

Liked: After a memorial service and before our flight back to Europe, my brother, sister and I stayed at the Soho Hotel Toronto. I was woken during the night by loud shouting. My brother, however, who was on a different floor, was kept awake from 3am - 6am by 3 couples fighting and throwing things in the corridor. He called reception several times. They did v little. In the morning we were told the police had been called but didn’t come. My brother received no apology from management. He was told breakfast would be on the hotel - he had a coffee and croissant. He asked about a refund but I don’t believe has heard anything. Subpar.
