Very good choice at affordable...

Liked: Overall nice, clean and friendly staff. Very good breakfast, very good location. Parking also for car is available. Surrounding very nice and access to city centre.
Disliked: Hotel is a bit outdated as compared to other facilities of sofitel. Its not dramatically outdated and didnt bother, just i didnt get the look and feel of for example sofitel london - st James.

Disliked: Poor quality of the bed, mattress should be changed

Liked: This is a historic hotel that went through some amazing remodeling. Had some of the most comfortable beds ever. Amazing, central location. Beautiful spa area. Great staff. Our family room was big and comfy. I was genuinely impressed
Disliked: The restaurant food did not live up to my expectations.

Disliked: The smell in the rooms and hallways was really terrible.

Liked: The room was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast had a wide selection of choices. Location was good.
Disliked: The air conditioning was loud and ineffective. The parking was outrageously expensive at €50 per night. There was street parking around the hotel which may be a less expensive option

Great location but our experience...

Liked: The location
Disliked: We arrived one a day when they had no electricity power by 2:30 .. told us to wait until check in time .. by 3:30 pm still no power. Busy reception staff unable to provide answers. A large USA tour group all over the lobby with no rooms! I understand it’s out of their control however they should be able to handle more smoothly. We were told after waiting an hour that your options are either cancel and find another or wait for hotel allocation to another hotel. Or leave luggage go out come back in few hours maybe power is back.We went out came back by 6:30 pm hopping to get our room ! However we were told by the receptionist. That we were allocated to another hotel taxi will take us !!!! The power was back why should we change our hotel !!! We had chosen 2 or 3 weeks back ! At same time other people were just Checking in provided rooms in front of us , we were told no hot water ! We refused to change the hotel took the room and the power was there even HOT water !!!! Why did they lie !! One other thing the beds were overly used the mattresses in need for change !! Not comfortable at alll ll
