Disliked: Our room was above the outdoor restaurant/ bar… very noisyMattress quite soft, no pillow menuAbsolutely nowhere to unpack and pop your clothes away… no drawers or shelves..As a couple we like to unpack and pop our things away .. not live out of our suitcases.Bathroom only fits one person at a time.Toilet needed to be flushed a minimum of two times to flush it properly.

Disliked: Bars weren't open very late, lifts were incredibly slow (throughout the day) and the room had quite a bit of outside noise disturbing sleep (I accept outside noise is beyond their control, but windows could be better sound proofed) . Lack of Pool or onsite sports facilities

Disliked: I received a phone call earlier that day saying I am the guest of the day. We arrived around 2.40pm went to check in (we were early so we’re happy to wait until check in at 3pm) it said the room was not ready yet. We went and spoke to reception she checked and said it wasn’t ready that we need to sit and wait and I will receive a text message when the room is ready. It then came to 3.10pm and I spoke to a lady named Suzanne who was the one who called and said I was the guest if the day she remembered speaking to me earlier. As I spoke to her saying it’s now 3.15 the room isn’t ready she said she would go check that this is very odd for it not to be ready yet apparently they have had a busy weekend. We finally received our room key at 3.25pm. Personally I don’t care that you’ve had a busy weekend check in is at 3pm check out times are at 11-12pm, don’t book the rooms back to back then if you’ve had a busy weekend and can’t accommodate. This in turn made us run late for a dinner reservation at 4pm as we needed to go to the room and freshen up and change before heading out. I didn’t like how I was told I was guest of the day yet my room wasn’t ready and Suzanne said on the phone there will be goodies left in the room for me on arrival. There was nothing in the room on arrival which was annoying and only when we had left our room for a split second someone had entered the room without permission to leave a coke bottle a sprite bottle and 4 small chocolates. On top of that chrome cast from our phones to the tv didn’t work nor did mirroring the phone work. It shouldn’t have been this annoying for a weekend away for my birthday. Disappointing and won’t book at Sofitel Wentworth again.
