Totally unsatisfactory

Disliked: Everything else, tired old worn out and was fantastic 25 years ago, unfortunately Accor have decided to sweat their assets to the limit and past, the result is a hotel that is sub standard and poor quality and terrible value for money considering the price of over 550 Euros a basic room with no balcony overlooking the trash they have left on the floor below.The staff are really happy and struggling to keep a brave face on managements refusal to improve revert element of public and private spaces.The carpets are dirty hired and old, the public spaces worn out, but it begs the question why do such a large group care so little for their clients?

Liked: The view from the restaurant windows is absolutely stunning. The service during breakfast and dinner was very pleasant and welcoming. Housekeeping was excellent, and the turndown service in the evenings was a lovely touch.
Disliked: Absolutely unprofessional hotel management!We specifically booked this hotel because of the spa facilities, choosing a higher-category room with spa access. Upon arrival, we were informed that the spa was closed for renovation — exactly during our stay. When we asked at the reception why we hadn’t been notified in advance, the receptionist admitted that we should have been informed. Of course, we double-checked all messages from the hotel, and none mentioned the spa closure. She promised to look into it, but no one ever followed up or offered any kind of apology or gesture of goodwill. This kind of attitude is far from what you would expect from a 5-star hotel!Additionally, the hotel overall is in need of renovation.

Disliked: This hotel is a 2-star at best. The shower in my room could not be shut; when you did manage to shut it with enormous effort, you then couldn't turn it on again - from other complaints from folks staying at the hotel same days, this was a recurring issue. The carpet was so old, it was coming off in waves. The doorstops were knocked out. The water was cut for 2 hours....The sauna door could not be opened from the inside (...this is potentially dangerous...), and the shower was so beat-up it was falling off. All in all, a terrible, run-down, sort of awful facility. which is DEFINITELY not 5 star, and 2 star at best. Accor should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for passing off an atrocious facility as 5 star. The only thing which partially saves the place is the staff - all of whom are absolutely superb.
