Awesome base to explore Marseille...

Liked: Great location and a lovely, very comfortable Sofitel. Highly recommend - awesome views and wonderful restaurant. Parking and valet service is great!
Disliked: An outdoor pool would have been amazing in summer - but still a wonderful stay

Very nice hotel expensive because...

Liked: Good hotel in a perfect position overlooking Marseille Harbour. Food, drink and staff were excellent.
Disliked: The hotel is expensive but the facilities are tired and overdue for an uplift. MY room had a view of a garage roof which if I hadn't been exhausted after two flight cancellations and just needed to go to sleep I would have definitely complained about. You cant charge £350 a night for a hotel billed as overlooking Marseille harbour and offer a room with a view of a garage roof.

Liked: Beautiful location! Ideally located. Stunning views from the restaurant and Bar. Hotel was modern. Very clean. Great facilities
