Liked: First, let me say that I am a regular guest at the Sofitel and know it very well. This time, however, my stay started on a disappointing note (without giving the details).That said, once I spoke with the Front Office Manager, Marine, everything changed. It wasn’t about the request itself but rather her professionalism, confidence and extremely pleasant approach that truly made the difference. She was the main reason I ended up enjoying my stay this time, to say the least.Room service was quick and friendly, and the extremely helpful bellboys as well as the gentleman at the door welcoming guests were very warm, professional and genuinely nice. Their hospitality, along with Marine and the excellent location of the hotel are the reasons I give a high rating.
Disliked: breakfast was okay but not great. I believe the hotel needs to think of a way to cover the buffet food better. I know it can be challenging but having uncovered food with flies around is not pleasant to see first thing in the morning..overall breakfast “experience” can be better

Liked: Everything
Disliked: My son left the pencil and pen, which were souvenirs, on August 12th around 3pm in a bar on the ground floor. He came back an hour later, but the waiter responded that they didn't find anything (without even looking). When we came back again with the staff member, the other waiter again was adamant they didn't find anything. Quite disappointing that things get "lost" in such a nice establishment. Otherwise, everything was nice.

One of the best hotel...

Liked: Perfect location, close to everywhere and yet spacious and quiet. Staffs are super helpful and friendly. A real gem.
