Not up to Sofitel Standards

Liked: Location close to Terminal 5.
Disliked: Rude front desk. Restaurant: poor service and waiter unengaged for our party of 6. Spent over $500 and food wasn’t that good. Noisy, too.

Excellent choice when in transit...

Liked: The comfort and fast connection to LHR T5.
Disliked: The price , not for the budget traveler.

Bad

Disliked: I was given room 1013, miles away with totally inadequate explanation of how to get there. It was very late and I was very tired with a 04h30 wake-up next morning (which staff knew) but had to spend a while trying to find it before calling staff to come and find it for me. They should have sent someone with me at the beginning to find it, there are no indications. Personal show should be an automatic requirement in this case. They were very dosy and I was very annoyed, zero service.

Best place to stay for...

Liked: Room was fine. Left too early for breakfast - early flight
Disliked: Arrived without correct plus to charge phone. Hoped to borrow one from Reception. Was told this is no longer possible, so had to buy one from the shop instead. Not impressed.

Perfect resting place before or...

Liked: Very comfortable and convenient location
Disliked: Expensive when all you need is to stopover and sleep with insufficient time to enjoy the facilities
