Liked: Excellent location with lovely ocean view. Bed was very comfortable and our room was large. We could not fault the Sofitel Broadbeach.

Liked: location was great and central to everything. staff the day of check in were very friendly
Disliked: Fire alarms went off and had to evacuate the building at 3am only to be told it was a mistake and to go back to our room and the alarms continued to go off for another 20 minutes - no compensation or apology

Liked: Clean, tidy, corporate hotel - promised a "river view" - which didn't exist, but coudln't fault location or cleanliness. They need to sort their lifts out though - a shocking wait at times
