Frankfurt is an ugly citiy....

Liked: the room is pleasantly furnished. It was clean and in good state of repair. I find the ironing board and iron a nice feature. I missed a bidet. I liked the mini bar - both with view to equipment and beverages being included in the room rate.The doormen (Bellboys) were very nice and obliging. Reception staff were correct and responsive.
Disliked: The staff at the bar and the restaurant (breakfast) should have greeted me with a smile. Instead they were indifferent and unfocused. Male staff at breakfast was better than female staff. They looked like and behaved as though they hated their job. And as though they minded my making them work for me as a guest. My fried eggs were burned. I had to ask for cutlery. The espresso was undrinkable. The bill was incorrect (I was charged 16 € for an omelette instead of 12€ for the fried eggs that I had ordered)A barman should be have a friendly, welcoming personality. The person who faced me across the counter seemed unwilling to utter a single word.
