Snipelands Bed and Breakfast.

Oasis that is comfortable, well...

Liked: Anne, our host, could not have been more friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond by booking our table to eat out in the evenings and recommended somewhere to visit that was indoors when the weather was not so good. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we could ever need - from chocolates and biscuits to ironing board, iron and safe (with other bits and bobs in between!!). Breakfast was brilliant, cooked to order using mostly local produce (with a great selection) that filled us up for the whole day! The bungalow was really well placed for visiting Tyntsfield House (well worth going to) and the amazing Oakham Treasures Museum (Ann recommended this and it did not disappoint!). The bungalow is well placed to visit everything in this area. The bungalow is not far from the main road and civilisation, but you would be forgiven for thinking you were miles from nowhere as it is so peaceful and quiet. All in all would thoroughly recommend a stay at Snipelands and will definitely return if we are around that way again.

10/10, cosy, gorgeous views, amazing...

Liked: Absolutely loved our stay here! Anne is such a lovely person, very knowledgeable and accommodating. The bed was super comfy and the views of the fields are amazing. Breakfast was incredible (still dreaming about it now almost a week later). All local produce and homemade jam and just so delicious.
Disliked: That we’d only booked one night! We’re trying to make up excuses to come back to Bristol to stay here again!

One night relaxing stay before...

Liked: It was so warm and welcoming . Perfect for our relaxing one night stay before a flight from Bristol Airport . Although it appeared out in the countryside , only 10 mins from airport if you follow satnav . A cosy spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom and a delicious breakfast , which consisted of fresh fruit and yogurt with orange juice and a beautifully cooked English breakfast with toast and jams . A generous pot of tea between the two of us .
