Tucked away just 6.8 miles from the heart of Bristol and only 2.5 miles from Bristol Airport, this B&B is a quiet, cozy base for anyone heading to a big show in the city, but wanting to escape the bustle afterward. With free private parking, in-room comforts like flat-screen TVs and kettles, and welcoming hosts, it blends countryside calm with easy access to nightlife.

Why Concert-goers love it

This spot is ideal for music fans who want to stay just outside the noise. Close enough to Bristol’s top venues for a quick drive or ride-share, yet far enough to enjoy some real rest post-gig. The free WiFi helps you upload those concert pics right away, and the peaceful setting makes it perfect for decompressing. While check-in starts at 17:00, many guests appreciate the host's friendly flexibility—just ask in advance.

Who this Hotel is great for

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, the B&B offers a generous breakfast—ideal after a late night. For other meals, nearby Nailsea and Bristol have pubs, takeaways, and sit-down dining just a short drive away. The in-room kettle is handy for a midnight tea or coffee.

Nightlife Options

What People Say

Guests consistently praise the spotless rooms, friendly hosts, and peaceful surroundings. Many reviewers mention the convenient location—close to both the airport and Bristol—making it a great choice for travelers with late flights or early checkouts. The breakfast also gets high marks for being hearty and homemade.

Areas for Improvement

Check-in time is a bit late at 17:00, which might be a squeeze for early arrivals—though the hosts often accommodate requests. It's also a quieter property, so not the place for party vibes—but that’s a bonus for those who want real rest.

My stay was very comfortable...

Liked: Anne was very welcoming and thoughtful; a perfect hostess. Although I hadn't met her before, it felt like staying with a friend. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of choice. My room was extremely comfortable, and the welcome tray was particularly generous.
Disliked: Nothing could have been improved.

A superior bed and breakfast.

Liked: We really appreciated being able to check-in earlier than we had communicated so we could leave our luggage there. Our bedrooms were a good size with all the amenities of home. We learned a lot about the area from our host. The location, near Bristol airport, was ideal for our travel plans.
Disliked: This is really minor, but I wasn't a fan of the sausages at breakfast, nor the orange juice (way too sweet)! But we appreciated all the breakfast options.

Oasis that is comfortable, well...

Liked: Anne, our host, could not have been more friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond by booking our table to eat out in the evenings and recommended somewhere to visit that was indoors when the weather was not so good. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we could ever need - from chocolates and biscuits to ironing board, iron and safe (with other bits and bobs in between!!). Breakfast was brilliant, cooked to order using mostly local produce (with a great selection) that filled us up for the whole day! The bungalow was really well placed for visiting Tyntsfield House (well worth going to) and the amazing Oakham Treasures Museum (Ann recommended this and it did not disappoint!). The bungalow is well placed to visit everything in this area. The bungalow is not far from the main road and civilisation, but you would be forgiven for thinking you were miles from nowhere as it is so peaceful and quiet. All in all would thoroughly recommend a stay at Snipelands and will definitely return if we are around that way again.
Disliked: Nothing.
