Liked: Location very convenient , room large and confortable very calm and staff very nice and welcoming

Smyth offers wonderfully big room...

Liked: The room was nice and spacious, the bed was nice and firm. The ample hooks and railings in the bathroom were nice and thoughtful touches.
Disliked: The shower flooded the bathroom every time we shower.And additionally the room was quite dark and could use an extra lamp or ceiling light near the mirror

A Little Disappointed with Our...

Liked: Location, room and bathroom are relatively spacious, nice bar area
Disliked: We are frequent visitors at the Smyth Tribeca. This visit, unlike previous ones, the staff was indifferent, not responsive and confused. For example, we brought doing a broken hairdryer the clerk shrugged just shrugged. We asked to send us send us a functioning one. We never got a replacement dryer (luckily I had mine). Rooms were minimally cleaned on our 4 day stay. The bar bathroom was not cleaned until late afternoon. All in all - not the usual pleasant experience we got accustomed to at our beloved Smyth☹️

Liked: This was my second stay at Smyth TriBeCa. Great location, decent size rooms and bathrooms.
Disliked: While the stay was prepaid via Booking, the hotel kept blocking money on my credit card throughout the stay. I managed to clarify this through customer center (the hotel staff was not helpful at all). However, I ended up being overcharged $500+ for no reason. Between the customer center and the hotel, I still have not received the money back. Aside from that, the staff doesn’t seem to be interested in guests, generally ignoring them.

Disliked: Staff was not helpful. Nor were they ever there at night at the front desk. The staff in the bar is horrible
