Comfy bed

Liked: The bed was really comfy and the room was clean.
Disliked: Paid for breakfast which included a gluten free breakfast. There was no bacon or sausage with the breakfast. Poached egg was hard and toast was cold. Overall breakfast was cold the beans were lukewarm warm. We left the breakfast and went into town for food.

Liked: The overall experience of the smiths was a positive one. Lovely rooms, friendly staff, very clean throughout.
Disliked: The room we had was beautiful, clean and pleasant but unfortunately the bed was so uncomfortable. Both me and my husband had an awful night's sleep (well when we could) the mattress was extremely firm, my back was killing me and my husband had dead legs too. It is such a lovely hotel but it's a shame about the mattress ( I got a feeling they were new mattresses).
