Owner welcoming but service quality...

Liked: The owner was very welcoming, and the location is a stone's throw to the bus stop.
Disliked: It was surprising to see that the bed was laid daily and the bin bag was replaced, but the room was not cleaned up. Still had dirts here and there on the floor.The electric kettle was also very dirty, and we could not boil water with it. The hand wash we met was barely enough for one day, and I was wondering why the toilet was cleaned up, but the hand was never refilled for the 5 days we spent.

Liked: A very nice place! Located about 30 minutes from the city center, in a quiet district.The room is clean, has all the essentials, and the street view is charming. Great soundproofing and a very comfortable bed.Neil is a helpful and kind host :) He allowed me to check in early and check out late at night.I definitely recommend this place!

Liked: The larger room was lovely, but the smaller one was a little tight for a giant like myself. Lovely people. Recommended

Liked: Lovely area, easy to get into the main area of the city on bus 24 or a couple or streets over on bus 3. Great shop on the corner with basic groceries, reasonably priced sandwiches, yogurt, baked goods, fruit etc. The Old Bell Pub up the road (short walk) has a nice atmosphere and good food!

Comfortable guest house, with easy...

Liked: My room was a nice size. I especially liked having the bathroom/shower within the room area. The room was very clean,and was kept warm and cosy. I liked having a guest house key, so that it was possible to come and go at will. It was handy having the electric kettle, and tea/coffee and milk satchels were kept topped up. The bed was comfortable, but probably somewhat harder then I'm used too. The TV had plenty of viewing stations. I have to say the house was nice and quiet and the guest house owners were very friendly and helpful. I would have no problem returning to them for another stay.
Disliked: I don't think the extraction fan was working in the bathroom. The type fiitted I believe is suppose to operate when the light is switched on. The towels were a bit hard. That aside the batroom was kept clean, and there was a good supply of warm water from the shower.
