Relaxing with great views and...
Liked: The location was amazing. The food was exceptional couldn't fault it and the service was great to.The pool was amazing nice and warm.
Disliked: The room was looking tired in places. The cleaning wasn't up to standard our cooktop and floors still dirty for a premium room you would expect this to be immaculate. I would recommend changing the lights in the bathroom as they are known to explode my friend has just been in hospital for those exact lights that shattered and gave her massive injuries. This made me feel a little uneasy. The room was perfectly located and had amazing views.I would recommend putting in a luxury arrival basket like most premium stay places with a bottle of wine and some snacks this as a guest makes you feel like someone has gone to a massive effort for you and it sets the mood for the stay.

Great hotel if venturing to...
Liked: - lovely pool area with absolutely beautiful gardens all throughout the resort, so gorgeous to look at when swimming.- nice pool temperature, consistent throughout our stay, not too hot or cold just right- very friendly helpful front staff (Katie gave great info about the area/maps and is an asset to this place)- lux linen, powerful warm shower, gorgeous shampoo and conditioner [looking up brand to buy it!]- fantastic for families, the 2 bedroom shack had BBQ, well equipped kitchen for cooking meals with both stove top and oven, large fridge and freezer, washing machine and drier combo if staying for extended period, coffee with plunger provided was a very nice added bonus [rather than just b rate instant], salt/pepper and tea/sugar and large carton of fresh milk also. Please note, you need to bring olive oil if cooking as this is not provided. This isn't a negative or positive as it depends on reason for travel. I would say for couples traveling without kids, one needs to be mindful this is a family friendly resort. When we havent travelled with kids we have taken this into consideration and at times stayed at adult only resorts. I would consider this if looking at paying for the more expensive rooms/for a special romantic trip where you are forking out more than you normally would. If the more luxe rooms are well within usual budget then maybe it wouldn't bother you so much to have kids around the pool when travelling solo or as a couple only? That being said, if travelling as a couple only or solo and looking at the fairly priced [for the area] beach shacks, the family friendlynss of the resort wouldn't have bothered us, and we would stay again without kids if going to the area if booking beach shack room. I hope that makes sense!Great wine/antipasto supply deli on site [note only available after 4pm] for ice creams, salamis, frozen meals.
Disliked: - Stayed late April, unfortunately the restaurant isn't available for lunch, it only serves breakfast and dinner- Dinner meals are expensive (mains ~$50 AUD pp), the drinks list seemed pretty fair/on par with what I'd pay at most restaurants/hotels in Perth. - The pool is gorgeous but it would be nice to be able to order drinks/snacks by the pool during the day. [You can't as there are no facilities from roughly 11am-430pm for food/beverages at the resort.] We brought our own snacks from supermarket in the nearby town 15 minutes drive away. Would suggest considering - snacks/drink provision to have by the pool during the day- cheaper food options to have at Lamonts restaurant for dinner, wood fired pizzas for example? Rather than just the fine dining mains. I don't think this would detract from the fine dining experience for guests but would be useful for people with more mid range budget staying at the resort over multiple nights. There were some cheaper take away dinner options but would be nice to have more modest dine in menu items.
