Really nice hotel in great...

Liked: Very nice welcome from a cheery lady and my room was upgraded. It was all very comfortable indeed. There is plenty of parking behind and in front of the hotel. Breakfast was great and had to be ordered the night before. But great options.
Disliked: Only one small niggle. In a completely empty breakfast room being told I couldn't sit at any of the empty tables near the window, because they were all reserved for a party of tourists who would be arriving in around three hours!

Liked: A very hearty Scottish cooked breakfast that will set you up for the day.
Disliked: My room was over the bar and it got a bit noisy for a bit but it did not spoil my enjoyment during my stay.

Liked: A wonderful place to stay as long as you don't mind driving. It was semi centrally located to most sites you may want to visit while in Orkney. The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious and prepared to order. The restaurant offered a nice variety of meals for dinner as well as beer, wine, and cocktails. The tv room/lounge was always available if you wanted somewhere to unwind. The staff was also kind enough to allow me to stay there a couple of hours after checkout while awaiting my ferry. I highly recommend this hotel.
Disliked: Nothing that comes to mind.

Disliked: Having to go out of the hotel in the rain to access the Restaurant.
