Pleasant

So dirty and insanely overpriced.

Liked: Lovely staff.
Disliked: It was so dirty. There were splatters of something I hope is coffee next to one of the beds and a BLOOD SPLATTER in the shower wall, which came off when we threw water at it so it clearly was not cleaned the slightest.

Overnight to see Oasis

Liked: Location to Edinburgh Waverly Station. Yes, it was very expensive to what is normally charged, but the staff we spoke to were great, and the room was basic but clean. I would probably stay here again.
Disliked: Unfortunately the cost was expensive.

Liked: It is very well located, just a few blocks away of the Royal Mile.We had issues with the room and Ally, at reception, was very nice and did his best effort to accommodate us in a new room. He was the best, and really made a difference to us being able to sleep in a different room, being that it was a very crowded weekend in Edinburgh. The bar downstairs seemed cool, but we didn't go because it was very crowded and noisy.
Disliked: It was super expensive (€750 2 nights for 3 people) for the facilities it offered. It was a crowded weekend (Edinburgh festival and Oasis concert) and so we thought it was "acceptable", but the rooms were extremely noisy with the bar downstairs and you could hear everything from the next room.The bathroom was terrible. Very small, smelly and uncomfortable. The shower did not even have a curtain separating it from the toilet. Imposible to use the bathroom after someone had a shower.The beds were not the worst, but weren't good either.The rooms are not comfortable or good enough for the price.

Disliked: Filthy like a prison, for 300e a night had to dress my own bed, crumbs on bed and floor, shower looked so grim, didn’t go anywhere near it

Liked: I liked the cleanliness, the bar and multiple toilets and showers in the room. It’s right in the city old town and the pub which is right near the dorm room ~ I enjoyed the drink and night there…. Wish I had my all two days in this hostel
Disliked: I didn’t like the smell in the room which I think was not sufficiently ventilated. Hope they get cross ventilator
