The Slopeside it a nice...
Liked: Location is great! We have been coming to Seven Springs for 5 years and this is the second time we have stayed at Slopeside Hotel (1st time was 5 years ago). Location and convenience is definitely the main reason to stay here. You can walk to almost all amenities without going outside. The food available at the restaurants is good. The complementary coffee in the lobby is a great perk! The updated mini golf is a wonderful addition. The staff was all very kind and willing to help. The beds were comfortable. Love the expansion of new little pop up food places (Cantina)
Disliked: The hotel is still very outdated and in desperate need of improvements. Did not noticed any improvements since the last time we stayed 5 years ago. The elevators were disgusting, always dirty, falling apart, and sounded like they were going to break down at any minute. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion provided in reusable, easily opened bottles is gross! Who knows what the previous guest might add to that bottle?!?! I understand not wanting to use individual samples but please consider the option of permanently mounted bottles inside the shower that cannot be tampered with. The indoor pool is a HUGE disappointment. Not being able to use the entire pool (the deep end being closed due to being too cloudy??) made it super crowded and uncomfortable. There needs to be a solution to this. Also the hot tub situation is atrocious!! There were only 2 working (the lifeguard told us the others had been down for months) and they were both filled with unsupervised kids (12-15 kids in each) for hours at a time. This left no availability for any of the other paying adults to use them. We remember during covid when we had to pay to reserve the hot tubs for a set amount of time. Why did this stop? This seems like a much more efficient and definitely finically beneficial way to go about things. If this is not an option, there needs to be more strict rules around the hot tub usage. This is one of the things that skiing adults look forward to the most at the end of the day! OPEN THE COFFEE SHOP!! Goodness, no coffee shop is ridiculous! The ice cream shop with breakfast options was ok but the line was sooooo long - took 30 minutes to get through each morning.

Great but needs work
Liked: Location is great for the slopes. Love the lodge and different restaurants and activities you can do on site. The fireplace in the lodge is my favorite for rounding up friends as a meeting spot, chatting over coffee or an other drink.
Disliked: The short staffing is causing my experience here to decline. Long wait times for a drink, or to eat at a restaurant full of empty tables because they don’t have enough staff, very long wait at the cocktail stand which used to be my favorite to grab a Bloody Mary from (took about 15 minutes for the poor woman to make 2 bloody Mary’s, she cited that they were short staffed and never worked that stand before- she did her best), and Foggy Goggle. It’s clear that the few staff that are there try really hard to give the guests the best experience they can with their limited resources. I often see the staffing offering to help each other or checking in when someone looks overwhelmed.
