We love this amazing mountain...

Liked: This is our second time here, it is beautiful, scenic, inviting, cozy, super duper clean, breakfast was better the first time around with butter milk pancakes and white bread french toast (they were oat pancakes and whole wheat french toast this time) but still ok! Staff is SO SO friendly, pool is not heated so we didn't bother this time it was kinda chilly but we did use it last time and it was ok! We are definitely coming back!!!

Charming & sportive retreat

Liked: It a small friendly place surrounded by nature and very well équiped to practice all kind of sports ( tennis , pool , volley ,…) & enjoy good food and good drinks .

Disliked: The lodge where we stayed was very musty smelly. Needs new carpet & upholstery. Obviously very damp in the woods.

The perfect overnight accommodation for...

Liked: I had an excellent three-day stay at Slide Mountain House and enjoyed the peace and relaxation of the property. Slide Mountain House is located in close proximity to the Catskills' most popular hiking trails, most notably the Slide Mountain Trail and the Giant Ledge Trail. Breakfast was delicious and served a la carte by extremely friendly staff - leaving nothing to be desired. In the evening, I had a good selection of restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I liked the Slide Mountain Inn across the street best, which offers special treats of German cuisine and also stocks many types of beer from Germany. Just the thing after an eventful day of hiking in the Catskills. I will definitely come back one day.

Liked: Ralph and his wife were very friendly. They made us feel comfortable. And the breakfast was amazing. I’ll definitely recommend this place.
Disliked: The room needs a little up date and it should have a coffee pot.

Amazing, one of the best...

Liked: We loved staying here. Ralph and his wife are amazing hosts. This is one of the best spots you can stay in the Catskills to go hiking as a lot of trails are nearby. Breakfast was unbelievable, really good and made to order. We really liked the size of the room, the view, and the cleanliness. You can start a bonfire across the property as well! The whole place is just idyllic. We would recommend and look forward to come back!
