Modern, clean and compact. Helpful and friendly staff. Hotel close to the train station and to the music venue. An enjoyable experience.

The hotel experience was very poor; very overpriced which did not include breakfast, so had to pay an extra £15 for the breakfast, which wasn't great. Then had to pay an additional £16 for overnight parking in the train station. The room didn't have ironing facilities so had to ask at reception to be brought a very old and not in good condition iron and ironing board. To top it off my partner left his phone in the hotel room by accident and after we checked out we rang the hotel to ask them to post it out, to find it wasn't there, so obviously was stolen. Will never return.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was spotless. It was cosy and relaxing in the bar and it was in easy reach of the train station. Staff were courteous and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Couldn't fault the hotel. The only downside was we only stayed for one night and wish we had stayed longer. We will definitely be back!
