Liked: Tv in room didn’t work and the drinking water didn’t taste right other than that it was perfect

Disappointing.

Liked: The staff were polite and efficient so check in was brief and easy, which is always welcoming after a long journey. The bed was comfortable and pillows were good, and the hotel is in an ideal location for visiting Dundee. But everything else about this hotel was disappointing. The overall experience wasn't what we expected from a hotel of this caliber.
Disliked: This hotel lacks character and the air of luxury we'd expected. The photos looked good, but the room felt sparse, cheaply decorated and generally uninviting. There was no information provided in room, or at reception (ie breakfast times, WiFi, parking, hotel or local facilities), so we had to ask. The Foyer areas and restaurant were lacking character and comfort. We looked at the restaurant and decided to go elsewhere for breakfast (there are many cheaper, more attractive and more enjoyable facilities in Dundee). My mum, (who was with us) had stayed there when it was owned by Sleeperz. She said it wasn't quite the same. All the character seems to have been stripped out. She said that although the rooms are still clean she remembered them feeling more cozy and was disappointed to find the attractive features had been removed from public areas. Mum says she would stay there again because it's clean and the location is convenient. My husband and I would explore, and recommend exploring other hotel options in the area.

Liked: New, modern, clean rooms with nice furnishings. Liked the location. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good bar and breakfast. Was perfect for our overnight stay.
