So convenient for the train...
Liked: Clean , comfortable and very convenient. Staff were lovely too
Disliked: No complaints at all. Rooms perhaps a bit small for a long stay but for a couple of nights can’t beat it.

Great hotel for a short...
Liked: Excellent location right next to Cardiff Central Station - great for railway travellers. Excellent cleanliness, friendly welcoming staff and a comfy bed!Great place for a one or two night stay - I would stay there again.
Disliked: Bathroom a little cramped, especially sitting on the toilet!!Whilst there was some variety in the breakfast items, a little more would have been appreciated (and less salt on the potatoes!).

I booked budget expecting budget,...
Liked: Very convenient location right next to the station, but little to no noise from outside despite that. Staff were friendly and seemed genuinely concerned about the issues when reported, although there has been no follow-up or refund as promised.
Disliked: My colleague and I arrived back after a late dinner to find the lift had just been put out of service and we had to walk up several flights of stairs - there was no signage or warning about this. Wonder if either of us had mobility issues what the mitigation would have been. There was extremely loud mechanical noise for quite some time as I was trying to get to sleep - couldn't tell if it was from the broken AC unit or the maintenance cupboard next door. Luckily it stopped before I had to contemplate getting dressed and trekking downstairs to request a new room. I wish I had though, because in the morning the shower would only produce a dangerously scalding temperature, couldn't stand under it, and the on/off dial got so seized I had to use a towel to get enough grip to turn it off. All reported to reception when I checked out and requested a refund. Concern was expressed, they dispatched maintenance to check the room, and refund was going to be checked with a manager but I never heard anything back (1 month later).
