Comfortable stay, good value
Liked: Quiet. Bed was comfortable. Black out curtains worked well. Having a coffee maker, fridge and microwave was handy. Breakfast was great, good selection (waffles, eggs cereal, etc). Facility was clean overall.
Disliked: My only issue was there was a musty odor, which seemed like it was due to it being humid. When the AC unit was left on for a while on a lower setting, it seemed to clear it out as long as it was left running.

MS. Parker
Liked: Diane Parker in breakfast room was so sweet. She went above here duty. She made my family feel so welcome.
Disliked: The bathroom door. No real privacy. Did not lock..

A good stopover
Liked: Quiet, pretty comfortable beds, close to a Thai restaurant across the street, Swawadee. Good price for a hotel in the area.
Disliked: Water leaked from the bottom of the shower and got all over the floor, the toilet sits really low and there is no handicap handle to help those with long legs, big belly, or bad knees; two easy fixes are to put a rubber or silicone edging on the shower door at the bottom and install a handle at an angle on the wall next to the toilet. The breakfast area is only open until 9 am in the mornings, there was nothing healthy other than some fruit, white bread options, no wheat, no gluten free options, and nothing individually wrapped other than condiments. Most hotels that offer free breakfast have better week day hours that extend until 10 or 10:30 and some kind of muffins or bread that is whole wheat. Even though it was a good price for a hotel, it is possible to make staying at the Sleep Inn in Spring Lake, NC a better experience.
