Friendly desk staff with spacious...

Liked: It was close to the interstate and right down the road from Mount Rushmore.
Disliked: Its seems like Rapid City is a place you would want to avoid if at all possible.

Overpriced for the quality.

Liked: Staff was nice.
Disliked: Small pool. Shower squeaked and sprayed all over, so had to take a bath instead of a shower. A dog was barking in the room next to us. Way overpriced for the quality of the facility.

Liked: Location was great for us.
Disliked: We had problems with TV and when we called about it the front desk never got back to us . Feel customer service with that was terrible And the pool was very very cold. The rate and taxes went up every day.

Reliable chain hotel in a...

Liked: A nice box-style chain hotel in a good part of Rapid City, walking distance to several fast food restaurants. Rapid City is a little expensive this time of year but this hotel was the best value I could find and it was everything I expected. Often in hotels in towns like this, the staff is unengaging and not particularly helpful beyond trying to upsell the room, but the staff here was good. I stayed two nights.
Disliked: My only complaint, not a lot of parking for a truck and trailer (I was a Uhaul pulling a trailer). To be fair, there was a group of Spyder riders and they took up most of the parking spaces desiginated for longer vehicles and parked rather poorly, even leaving an unattached trailer taking what could have been three spots for a truck and trailer.
