there’s still a hold on...

Liked: they have free breakfast which was really good! the rooms are very roomy and comfortable.
Disliked: there’s still a hold on my card almost a month later. i stayed there the 30th of June and checked out on the 1st of July and told is July 28th and there’s still a hold on my card. i called the hotel, they said they had completed the stay and the hold should fall off in 5-7 business days, if not contact my bank. i contacted my bank and they said to call the property. i’ve went in circles with both and still nothing has changed so instead of $100 for one night, i paid $200 and i’m not okay with that.

Liked: Located right off 75. Lots of restaurants , grocery, shopping nearby. Friendly staff. Friendly longterm guests. Spacious room. Pet friendly. No hidden fees. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Pool was a good size but dirty. My partner was grossed out and refused to go in. Our room smelled like wet dog. I assume there was in fact a wet dog in the room the night before. We stayed 2 nights and the smell faded. The showers need to be updated. The bed was very uncomfortable ( very hard and board-like. Also, it tilted downward so our feet were above our heads.

Disliked: Room wasn’t very clean, stains on sofa and all over carpet. While sleeping in the bed we even had roaches crawling in the bed. We couldn’t even sit on the sofa it was so disgusting even the huge stains on the carpet we made sure we walked with shoes on.
