Liked: I didn’t like nothing about this property because we never stayed here!
Disliked: They treat you poorly because of the mold issues. I’m very HIGHLY allergic to mold. My face was swollen due to not being able to breathe in the room. My lips were also turning blue! Mold all in the showers! Room was very hot coming into it for first time! Roaches on the wall behind beds and near lamps. I recommend you staying away from this hotel if you can. Not everyone has allergies but it’s very bad! Would love for them to have health inspection done. The condition of that room is so terrible. The manager never called us back about a refund due to not staying there! We slept in the parking lot. He never spoke to us about the situation either! I feel as he is ignoring us. Me having health problems due to your hotel is not my fault!

It was not pleasant.
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The elevator was broken so we had to haul our luggage up the stairs. I asked for a discount due to this and was told no. No deal breaker, I agreed to stay. The carpet looked dingy and the shower did too. Floor coming up in bathroom. Woke up the next morning and a baby cockroach was crawling on the wall in the bathroom. I freaked out. My husband and I quickly dressed and got out as soon as we could- we don’t like bugs and didn’t want to take any home with us. I stopped at the desk and spoke to the clerk at the desk. She told me it’s hot outside and bugs want to come in just like we do. Also told me she had no control over the elevator not working and she wasn’t apologetic in any way and did not offer any kindness at all, even though I worked hard to keep my cool and be nice. Never ever would I recommend this hotel.

Clean environment, friendly staff, well...
Liked: The front desk staff was very knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was good and well stocked and continually replenished with an assortment of cold (yogurt, cold cereal) and hot choices (biscuits, sausage, egg, oatmeal and grits) and breads/muffins/fruits with individual servings of jams, jellies and peanut butter. Of course there was also plenty of tea and coffee. Most important, the breakfast area was clean and well maintained and I saw the staff wiping down the chairs and tables with cleaning solution.Throughout the lobby and the rooms, the house keeping and cleaning staff was ever present and prompty brought towels when requested.I especially liked the accessible bathrooms with hand rails around the toilet and in the shower for guests with limited mobility. That was a positive feature.All staff were friendly, pleasant and welcoming.
Disliked: One reason why I selected this hotel was because I exercise daily for health related reasons and the website boasted an exercise room with equipment. However, I was disappointed to find that the exercise room had a stationary bike; a treadmill and an elliptical and none of it was operational and appeared to be out of service for a very long time. That was deceptive advertising and unless this exercise room is restored to operational status, that statement should be remeoved from the website.Additionally, the elevator was out of service for the entire stay. However, that did not affect me as I was on the first floor by request (which was a request that I made at the time of booking and it was honored and I got an email to that effect prior to my arrival). Therefore, the out of service elevator did not factor in my review as I was not peresonally affected.

Liked: The fact the elevator was out, and he didn't tell me until he took my money.
Disliked: Having to walk up 3 flights of stairs, because he wouldn't accommodate me I LEFT. I OFFERED DOCUMENTATION OF MY KNEE PROBLEMS BUT WOULDN'T LOOK AT IT NOR GIVE ME A ROOM ON THE FIRST FLOOR SO I TOOK MY BUSINESS TO BEST WESTERN

Liked: I cant comment on anything because the desk clerk did not honor my reservation.
Disliked: First, I can't comment on the rooms because I didn't get that far. When I was reading reviews before making a reservation, I saw one of the complaints that the location is rural. That is not accurate. Right off the highway and in a heavy business district on a road with 3 or 4 other hotels.The customer service here, namely Alex, is despicable and A CLOWN!My family was MANY hours into a road trip. We were down to our last 5 but we were sore and cranky so we decided to book a very late hotel. We arrived about 90 minutes after making the reservation. My husband went in and came back out, giving me a thumbs down. He was told, by Alex, that we did not have a reservation despite having a confirmation number. Alex told him that our reservation was probably for the old Sleep Inn that was torn down. So, I proceeded to the desk and asked Alex why then would it give the address that we were at? To which he replies, "I don't know." Every question I asked him was met with "I don't know". The only definite answer I was given was that he couldn't issue a refund. I needed to go through 3rd party booking for that.We left the property and I called Booking. I had to have a valid confirmation code to reach customer service. Surprise, I had what I needed! Bella at Booking reached out to Alex. His reply to her was for me to call the manager and get hung up on her.I get the impression he simply didn't want to work and we were an inconvenience. I did see that customer service was said to be an issue and that is mostly certainly true!
