Sleep Inn & Suites Madison - Monona

Overall I'd recommend it. Great rooms and service for the price!

Liked: Short drive from downtown; helpful staff; clean and spacious rooms, between the East & West Towne Malls.
Disliked: Must be in a newer area because the roads leading up to it were horrible - pot holes everywhere; no bars, restaurants, gas stations within walking distance.

Never again...

Disliked: Hired lawn service cut grass and covered my vehicle with grass. When I say covered, I mean covered. Not just a little grass but a lot of grass. I was parked in the corner so it got sprayed point blank on the rear and driver side (was backed in the spot). With the early morning dew and mower being literally inches away, the grass stuck and dried to the car requiring a pressure washer to remove. The only saving grace was there was no damage to the paint. The inconsideration and lack of respect for personal property was beyond words. The grass could have been cut the other direction so as not the get on the car. Mine was not the only one...just the only in the corner to get it the worst. The hotel manager could not credit me the cost of the car wash since I booked through booking.com so offered 4 free drinks from the vending to try and compensate. Although the manager was nice and tried to make things right...I do not know if the issue was addressed with the lawn service. Whoever the lawn service was I do not believe would allow their employees to be so careless and reckless, like I said...miracle there was no damage from a stray stone or rock. Needless to say this left a bad taste in our mouths and we will NEVER go to that location again.

Liked: Hotel check in was smooth, room clean and comfortable. Perfect for a night to stay at after Coldplay concert

Liked: It was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Very quiet and a good location.
Disliked: The only thing I didn't like was that there was only a shower in the bathroom.

The rooms are nice but...

Disliked: The staff are mean and rude and impolite ! The pool is very dirty the bottom of the pool is peeling disgusting ! Bugs mosquitos in the pool and hallways no pest control !
