It was OK but not...

Liked: The waterpark was nice for the kids. Ages 5 and 8. The bathroom was spacious and plenty of counter space but the shower curtain was inadequate. Staff were helpful but is was obvious they were understaffed. Not enough housekeeping. Our orginial room was not ready when we got there.
Disliked: internet signal was very weak and did not allow us to watch the TV harldy at all during the stay. We even had to change rooms because the TV in our first room did not work. Facilily is run down and in need of updating. Lobby furniture was very old and worn out. The breakfast was so so. Powedered or instant scambled eggs were bad. The restrooms in the pool area were DISGUSTING and dirty. Not sure we will every come back.

Liked: Proximity to I35 was perfect for traveling through and very affordable.
Disliked: I should have paid attention to the reviews. So if you’re on the fence about staying at this hotel, don’t. First impressions when you walk in are good. Smells fresh and relatively clean. The man at the desk was less than polite and treated us more like an inconvenience to his day than anything else. The best word to describe the room: used. Stains on the chair and the carpet and the dresser was tattered and worn. I didn’t walk around without my shoes because the carpet felt dirty and sticky. If you like super soft beds then that will be great for you. We stayed here because we wanted to give the kids something fun to do on our travels. The waterpark was underwhelming. The hot tub was TINY. Maybe big enough for two people. The chairs were so rusted that you led need a tetanus shot to sit on them. It seemed like maybe the air filter system wasn’t working well because the chlorine smell was so thick that it made us cough. It did look like they were doing some maintenance and work so that’s good. Breakfast was meh. Thankfully the day shift employee was much friendlier. Overall, we won’t stay again.
