Nice night sleep.

Liked: Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable
Disliked: It was old and fixtures not updated. There was no ice in the entire building. Vending machines didn’t work. No air conditioning in the hallways. We had to leave a $100 security deposit then wait for bank to take it off. ??????Some staff was grumpy some were very nice.

Liked: The young lady who made breakfast was a delight as was the maid who was going to be cleaning our room.
Disliked: When I walked in the door (@4:30p), no one was at the desk. I rang the bell. I waited, then rang again. I waited several minutes. When Mona FINALLY emerged, she did not ask, "How may I help you" or anything. Instead, she responded with, "Was it necessary to ring the bell that much?" From there the check-in went downhill. She then proceeded to let me know that there would be $100 taken from my account in case I destroyed the room. I let her know how offended I was by that since other hotels I've stayed in just kept my card on file in case there was damage. When I became upset about the situation, since I am a widow on a fixed income, she proceeded to let me know that if I didn't get my mouth under control, she would not allow me to stay there. I never once raised my voice or used foul language. I then told her that it was not on the Book-it app about the $100. She pretty much called me a liar. I would not have booked it had I known. And, I will not again. Finally, I needed a bathroom but it was clearly marked on the doors no public bathroom. She told me it was only to keep the homeless and nasty people out of there. It not only highly upset my granddaughter but was an inappropriate way to say it. She does not need to be working with the public.Also, the shower did not look clean.
