Very good

A very pleasant overnight stay.

Liked: History of the building was interesting, staff were very nice the room was dog friendly clean and well thought out. The location was the best quiet with plenty of walks for the dog. We would definitely stay again.
Disliked: We had no problems.

Superb

Liked: Quiet and scenic location, lovely day outside to eat.
Disliked: Food service very slow, continental breakfast lovely meats and cheese but, needed some bread/rolls.

Beautiful setting, great food, friendly...

Liked: The setting was beautiful. The food at dinner was really lovely. The room I stayed in was not to room I booked, if I’d not paid for a luxury room I’d say it was good value as the more basic room was actually quite nice and much more comfortable than the “luxury” stable room. Staff were very friendly.
Disliked: I really did not like the stable room, I have stables at home and I wouldn’t call it a luxury room, certainly not worth almost £200 a night, I actually swapped with my parents who had a basic room. I couldn’t open or close the internal stable door. It was quite dark and as someone with a disability not really suitable for me. The breakfast was supposed to be at 7.30am as we were headed to skomer early. The staff didn’t arrive until almost 8am so we had no time for our planned hot breakfast …..there was no butter, no cutlery, no cups. The coffee arrived cold…..turns out it was from the night before. However the girls were very pleasant and I just feel they needed a little extra help with it all.

Disliked: Not much choice for evening meal.Breakfast was hit & miss Saturday morning no one asked if we wanted full breakfast so had continental no bread & limited choice Dinner Friday ran out of sea bass ? Saturday dinner was ok not great choice on menu.Sunday breakfast disaster ran out of butter ! Very disappointed with breakfast Saturday & Sunday!
