Disappointing

Liked: Food was lovely. Location is lovely if you want a really peaceful time away.
Disliked: Dinner and breakfast was very unorganised by staff. Every table at breakfast had to ask a member of staff for something or remind them about something that was asked for, as simple as bowls, spoons, tea/ coffee. The cleanliness of the room was good, however, our towels had marks on.

Liked: A superb location, beautiful grounds to explore with lovely views, peaceful, lovely room with doors to outside seating, good food, friendly service.

Liked: Lovely room. Great location.
Disliked: Breakfast service was really poor. No tables ready. Had to ask for basic cutlery and plates, dishes etc. Lots of tables in breakfast room were not cleared away. Food was good. Service awful.

We stayed for our daughters...

Liked: The most beautiful, incredible views and grounds. We stayed in the top notch room which was really cool.
Disliked: Got to be honest there wasn’t much we didn’t like. It was all very lovely. Restaurant was a little pricey for the quality, but still very delicious.

Liked: Location is fantastic, staff very helpful and great rooms. Not our first visit and will definitely return sooner next time

Not worth the money we...

Liked: Scenery that the hotel is situated in. Nice room although attention to detail e.g. towels and bedding stained, no plug in the basin let it down. Local bottled water and welsh cakes were a nice touch.
Disliked: Service in the hotel. Breakfast was chaos on day 1, tables not cleared orders delayed, table not wiped down. Staff were young and inexperienced and required direction. Continental breakfast is lacking. That said, the evening meals were very good indeed.
