Slaley Hall Hotel Spa & Golf Resort is an Edwardian mansion house with a modern twist set in 1000 acres of Northumberland countryside just 24 miles from Newcastle. It has a luxury spa 2 PGA Championship golf courses 3 restaurants and wonderful views. The modern rooms each have a large work desk. All rooms are elegantly decorated and have a seating area and many have golf course views. Slaley Leisure Club and Spa has a large swimming pool sauna steam room and Whirlpool. Nice location

Liked: Nice location, friendly staff.
Disliked: Restaurant struggled. 10 minute wait for pre booked table. 20 minute wait for order to be taken. 30 minute wait for starter / main to be served. 15 minute wait for dessert order to be taken. Food, when it eventually arrived was good quality and well presented.The Spa was rammed on both occasions we visited, no room in the swimming area.

Liked: Some of the staff were lovely most intact. I did not appreciate tye young staff in the jug bar on the Friday night when I went to ask if they were serving food the young girl rolled her eyes at me. Totally unprofessional and not very helpful at all.
Disliked: The staff in the bar 19 and reception were very helpful and lovely

Liked: The hotel was a beautiful old charm style hotel set in a lovely landscape The facilities very good.
Disliked: Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to unforseen circumstances
