Slaley Hall Hotel Spa & Golf Resort is an Edwardian mansion house with a modern twist set in 1000 acres of Northumberland countryside just 24 miles from Newcastle. It has a luxury spa 2 PGA Championship golf courses 3 restaurants and wonderful views. The modern rooms each have a large work desk. All rooms are elegantly decorated and have a seating area and many have golf course views. Slaley Leisure Club and Spa has a large swimming pool sauna steam room and Whirlpool. Heard it had went downhill....

Liked: Beautiful location. Spa facilities were lovely, very clean. Breakfast was buffet style cooked and continental, very delicious. Overall 10/10

Good value and location for...

Liked: A good sized room and large bed . Enjoyed the grounds and lounge areas where we spent time with friends, didn’t make it to the spa though. Decent breakfast , minibar , electric chargers , so all good.
Disliked: Good car park but far from reception with not much space for drop off / pickup by the door.

Relaxing couple of days in...

Liked: Location and access to the villages close by. Enables to venture out to enjoy the countryside.The bedrooms were spacious, lively bathroom and many rooms to explore.

We had a lovely stay...

Liked: I liked the relaxed cosey environment
Disliked: Needed updating in areas. Ceilings and doors in spa area were rusting and very old.We waited a very very long time to receive drinks each time we ordered in the claret jug and in the restaurant. Had to chase every single time.
