Skyview Los Alamos - 21 & Over Pool

A serene stay

Liked: This was our second stay here — and we’ll be back! We had a king room with a patio and outdoor shower. Everything was so clean, comfortable and pretty. Love the little touches - the soft waffle robes, nice soap products and mini- bar.
Disliked: I had forgotten that the hotel only serves breakfast on the weekends. The room has a nespresso machine and the reception has drip coffee every morning. The room has a fridge so you could bring your own stuff for breakfast— or head down the hill for excellent breakfast at Bob’s Well Bread or Plenty on Bell.

Very good

Liked: Dog Friendly. Extremely clean with a comfortable bed. Staff in hotel and restaurant were great.

Delightful, comfortable get-away. Close to...

Liked: We have been by the Skyview Motel 1,000 times and finally had dinner there at Normans about 6 months ago and walked around the grounds afterward. We were hooked right then and there! Immaculate rooms beautiful grounds just totally comfortable and delightful. Can't wait to come back :)
Disliked: Leaving---wish we could have stayed longer.

A lovely place to stay...

Liked: Well appointed hotel and room. Great drinks at the pool! It was a quick one-night stay so we didn’t eat at Norman. Next time!
Disliked: Pillows are pretty large. Would love a smaller option.

Liked: Nice and clean, decor well done!
Disliked: Out in middle of “ no where” near highway which was concerning because no security fencing. Felt insecure as a solo traveler.

Understaffed and overpriced.

Liked: The hotel has been renovated and is giving Palm Springs vibes. The restaurant is beautiful. The views of the surrounding hills are gorgeous. The small staff that was there was very kind.
Disliked: It’s overpriced for what it is. It’s a travelodge with nice views for $400 a night. The hotel and restaurant are very understaffed. Parking is cramped and you have to turn your car around in a tight place to exit. The location is nice for views but the hotel is on the other side of the freeway from the main drag of Los Alamos. I would have rather stayed in town for cheaper.

Liked: Beautiful decor and rooms with a great restaurant.
Disliked: There were rats chewing in the walls all night long. I couldn’t sleep despite having the fan on and an audiobook on to drown out the noises and it did not help.

Wonderful stay!

Liked: I really enjoyed my two night stay. It's a beautiful property and the rooms and outdoor spaces are well thought out and clean. I got a great night's rest.
Disliked: If I had to pick on something, it would be the parking situation. Too many people who are coming to the restaurant are parking in the hotel spaces. I came back one night to find all spots taken, except for the hill. Thankfully some diners came out and I was able to get that spot. Later, after the restaurant was closed, only about half the lot was used.

Skyview was the perfect place...

Liked: There were 5 of us - family time to hang with our daughter, her new husband and his mom. The property is wonderful. Such a chill vibe, perfect for reconnecting with our family and for creating new memoris. Normans was great, location perfect and we had a fabulous stay - the front desk woman - Krista(?) wonderful. She made it all happen for us
Disliked: Nothing
