Sky Hotel Flushing/Laguardia Airport

Very bad experience

Liked: Location
Disliked: Not clean, no hot water

Close to airport but gross

Liked: I liked that the check in was fast and it was 5 minutes from La guardia airport
Disliked: This hotel was pretty gross, it smelled like smoke there was hair on the towels and weed nugget on the bathroom counter. I didn’t see bedbugs but was nervous they might be present. We needed a place to lay our heads between an international flight from Rome to jfk before our La guardia flight early the next morning home. We only stayed 3.5 hours so it did the job of providing a place to shower and sleep near the airport but it was the most expensive place we stayed our entire trip and the grossest. I guess that’s New York.

It's not 4 4-star hotel...

Liked: No, It was damaged everywhere
Disliked: Damaged everywhere and floor is not clean. When we arrived in the room, it was smelly.

Would not recommend

Liked: Location was only thing going for it
Disliked: Bad hygiene, bed smells, and door can not close. When asked to switch rooms, was not done. Called property to see if can cancel second night but wouldn't allow it so ended up wasting my money.

Liked: The bed only.
Disliked: I did not like the fact that the hotel had to squeese itself under a list of hotels that offer breakfast when they know that they only provide coffee. The worst part of the hot beverage served, is that there is no option for guests who do not take caffeine. That is, there is no decaf coffee or ceylon tea or other options. This could have been specified on the website when the booking was made, At least one would have known what to expect.
