Located in the heart of Keswick the refurbished Skiddaw Hotel offers good food and spacious rooms with tea/coffee making facilities. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel and parking permits available at an extra cost for the car park near the hotel. The hotel's restaurant Brasserie 31 serves seasonal menus of local produce while the lounge bar offers drinks bar meals and our Hiker's Picnic Board - a savory twist on traditional afternoon tea. Great location, comfortable accommodation very...

Liked: Excellent location staff were very friendly and accommodating beds were really comfortable and a fan was available if needed very clean.
Disliked: On a weekend breakfast could or should be available until 11am not 9:30am. Could do with smart TVs in the room to access Netflix, YouTube, Amazon etc

Very good

Liked: Everything was lovely, staff were amazing and very friendly, the room was clean and tidy upon arrival. It's in the centre of Keswick and they offered a parking permit for £12.00
Disliked: No real issue of the hotel, however, we went during the recent heat wave and the room was incredibly hot. AC would have been nice but like I say not an issue of the hotel!

Superb

Liked: The location of this hotel is perfect right in the middle of the town. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was lovely. Will definitely be staying here in the future
Disliked: The parking outside of the hotel is a public car park so on busy days it’s difficult to find a parking space due to it being full

Relaxing

Liked: Room was spacious and clean. Bed was big and comfy. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good. The location was ideal, directly in the centre of Keswick.
Disliked: We stayed in a Saturday so the street outside was really noisy until about 1am - it didn’t bother us but may bother others
