Skeffington Arms Hotel

Excellent location to stay.

Liked: What a great place to stay, location was fantastic well within walking distance of everything. Our room was comfortable, great bed and a very quiet room. Meals were good from the bar however we did not have breakfast. Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful with any request.Parking was available at the local parking station who charged half rate through the hotel which was great and only a short five minute walk from the hotel. A fantastic place to stay did not disappoint.

Friendly and central

Liked: Very welcoming staff at reception. Bed was cozy and comfortable. Great shower. Couldn’t be more central.
Disliked: The decor in our room was awful! The walls were painted in blocks of terrible shades of green and blue and yellow. With a quote from an Oasis song stuck to the ceiling. Felt very 90’s hostel.

It was an excellent location,...

Liked: My room was ready as soon as possible. Had breakfast, slept until noon, next day, that is an unlikely happening.
Disliked: I would have liked some traditional Irish music, during the day on Saturday. I am older than most patrons so music after 8-9 p.m. is too late for me. I did find some excellent trad music down Shop street in the afternoon and I wished it was in your pub.

Great experience would stay again...

Liked: Staff was above and beyond friendly and helpful. They were very patient and great about answering all our questions!!! They helped us with getting a taxi, stored our luggage for a whole day while we were out in Aran islands and was happy to come back for a second night stay when we got back into the city. The bed was so comfortable and the air conditioning was so nice. The best air flow we had. The location is great and really appreciated the staffs welcoming and friendly attitude the entire stay.
Disliked: Nothing

Disliked: No screens on the windows. No top sheet on the bed only a duvet. It’s too hot.the lift wasn’t working every time
