Terrific Galway Hotel

Liked: Good location across from Eyre Square. Close to all amenities. Room was spacious and comfortable. There were instructions on how to operate AC, coffee machine, location of hair dryer, night lamp on/off switches. Niall and Laura were extremely friendly and helpful. There's live music nightly at The Skeff Pub connected to hotel. One of prettiest pubs we have been to. Fantastic breakfast served at pub in morning.
Disliked: Was not a problem for us but the live music may bother sine guests.

Great location and nice adjacent...

Liked: Room was spacious. The attached restaurant/bar is very large and convenient for closing out the evening.

Exceptional

Liked: Room was really tidy, loved the little chocolates on the beds. There were ear plugs in the night stands in case it was noisy. Staff were really helpful and friendly. I booked here after the Hardiman had messed up my booking and cancelled my room. I was glad I stayed here instead, the staff were much nicer to deal with

Superb

Cool Convenient location in Galway

Liked: The hotel is located facing the public park and right around the corner from Shop Street, so it's a really perfect location for Galway. On the outside the hotel looks historic and very "traditional Irish". Inside there is a beautiful traditional bar area where breakfast is served. but then the room areas have a cool modern funky vibe. It seems odd to have two totally different styles within one location, but we really liked it. There is no parking at the hotel but they direct you to a nearby lot and validate for a much lower price. The street in front of the hotel is technically "pedestrian" but we were able to pull our car there to unload and get directions to the car park. Staff from the front desk to the bar/breakfast area were exceptionally nice and helpful
