Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark

This place needs to step...

Liked: We were told breakfast was a paid add on, we did not attend we went to a nearby restaurant. Overall, it’s a good location, parking is convenient if you are planning to visit the great escape. The arcade is fun for kids.
Disliked: The front desk was not helpful, the room was dirty and dated. Paint drips in the tub. It was the type of room you don’t want to shower which shouldn’t be the case considering the price you pay. The water park hours are terrible. Open only 10-8 and closed for a big chunk of time in between. So many of the slides and flow rider was closed during our stay. The park also feels quite dirty. Looks like it could use a deep clean. The carpets in the halls have holes. It just overall is quite dated and needs some serious TLC or a price drop.

Horrible room, cold water and...

Liked: The amusement park next to it.
Disliked: The horrible room conditions. The broken pull out sofa. The cold temperatures at the indoor water park including the water, it was not 82 degrees. Waited 3.5 hours to get a sleeping surface for my grandchildren. The room curtains were dirty. There were no doors in the TV cabinet. The coffee table was all chipped. The food ordered in the restaurant did not come out as ordered.

Liked: Property is close to the outlet and town.
Disliked: The sheets were not fully clean. We saw a press on nail and blood marks on comforter by accident. And the cleaning lady was not helpful at all. She gave us extra blanket but didn’t really change the comforter. Also, He lady in the guest relations upon check in is not friendly and accommodating.

Disliked: The food is absolutely horrible. Not the cleanest. The hotel smelled of marijuana and we had to switch rooms due to water pouring out of our bathroom light

Liked: Love that everything is located close and we don’t have to travel far to do activities
Disliked: I didn’t like that we were having problems with our room, for example our fridge was leaking water and they didn’t offer to move us or give us any discount. Even after I told them twice about the leak we ended up cleaning it up ourselves
