Liked: Location, bar, and that is about it.
Disliked: The part we stayed in no balcony. Heavy construction went on from 8:00am-5:30 pm every day directly next to us. Lots of construction works using elevators which works rarely.

Disliked: The experience inside the hotel was a major letdown.Half the rooms are currently under renovation, yet they’re still being rented out. Ours was one of them, and it was shockingly dirty. The floors were gritty, the bathroom had visible grime, the curtains looked like someone vomited on them, and everything felt half-finished. For the price, this was unacceptable.The staff are friendly and welcoming, which we appreciated — but unfortunately, that didn’t translate into much actual help. When we raised concerns about the room’s condition, we were met with polite apologies but no real solutions other than moving to another room on the same floor/building as the unclean room. We accepted the offer, but this room was just as dirty. Our friends (who we paid for there room as well) were in the newly renovated side- thank god because this was their FIRST vacation by plane. We didn’t even stay the night in our room, we drove back and forth to our house each day which was 2 hours away.Until the renovations are complete and cleanliness is taken more seriously, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are better options nearby for the same price point.(which isn’t cheap!)

Disliked: Outrageous breakfast prices!! Ten dollars for a child's bowl of oatmeal. She was starving or we never would have bought it.. We didn't get into our room until 3 hours past check-in, after a 10 hour drive, and had no quality time on the beach as planned., before leaving the next morning. They "compensated" us with refund of parking and resort fees ($65) instead of allowing a later checkout to enjoy some lost beach time. The housekeeping staff could barely understand or speak English to answer questions. We should have read reviews before booking! Never again!

Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Short walk to the beach. Rum Runner’s Bar where the food was good. Waitstaff was friendly. Towel service. Pool was nice.
Disliked: There was construction/remodel going on. When we received the bill upon checking out, we discovered we were charged daily resort fees which was included in the booking. When we pointed it out, they subtracted only $90 instead of 120($40x3). There were other miscellaneous charges that they couldn’t explain. Beware they put extra charges on your bill that are vague and not justifiable.
