Sirata St Pete Beach

Disappointing

Disliked: I originally reserved a Beach View Suite in February for our trip. However, on April 25th—while already en route to the resort—I received a call from the property informing me that the suite was still under construction and that my reservation would need to be downgraded to a Bay View room.Unfortunately, the replacement room did not meet expectations. The so-called “Bay View” primarily overlooked the parking lot and offered only a very limited view of the bay between two buildings across the street. This was far from the beachfront experience I had carefully selected and paid for.While on site, I spoke with a staff member named Shelley, who informed me that a refund could not be processed directly through the resort due to the third-party nature of my booking. However, she assured me that she would contact Booking.com to coordinate a resolution. Upon departure, she confirmed that Booking.com had agreed to issue a $200 refund to compensate for the inconvenience.As of today, I have not received the refund, nor any communication from either the resort or Booking.com. I have also left multiple voicemails with the Sirata Beach Resort on May 12th, 15th, and 20th, all of which have gone unanswered.

Disliked: There were cockroaches in the bathroom our tv didn’t work the beds were uncomfortable and the cost was way over priced for the appearance of rooms.

Comfortable stay close to the...

Liked: I enjoyed the hotel location, bar and facilities. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was generally helpful. The bar/restaurant was great! We loved the proximity to the beach. I would go back.
Disliked: The hotel was under construction and directly impacted our room. There were workers on a station right outside our balcony. I rented the room specifically to see the ocean and enjoy the view. Unfortunately they covered the balcony with plastic and it blocked the view. The management worked with me and compensated me, but it was a short visit with a purpose to relax and enjoy - and I was disappointed.
