Superb

A little disappointed due to...

Liked: Very good location and good breakfast. Bathroom clean and modern. Nice decor.
Disliked: Room was extremely hot and there was no air conditioning which was originally advertised. Our friends had air conditioning in their room. We had to drink lots of water and use an oscillating fan which we found in the wardrobe. Asked for another bottle of water for the next night and was told if we wanted another bottle of water it would be charged to our room as you only get one bottle per stay and not per night. We had difficulty sleeping due to the heat and it being a very uncomfortable small double bed. 2 nights of poor sleep.

Good hotel by the river

Liked: Lovely hotel by the river in Windsor and a short walk from both Eton and Windsor castle. A good comfortable room and nice breakfast.
Disliked: Windsor is expensive and parking is not easy. So park in Slough and take the train to Windsor. This hotel was good value compared to some

Liked: Staff are first class. Location could not be better. Best buffet breakfast I have had at a hotel for a very long time. Bedroom and bathroom were spotless.

Liked: Great breakfast. Great location. The bedroom had air conditioning.
Disliked: The photo of our "King" room's bathroom on booking.com was much nicer than the actual bathroom.There were many stairs up, down and around to get to our room, so it wouldn't be suitable if you don't like stairs.
