This 17th-century house is between the banks of the River Thames and Windsor Castle. It is now a 4-star hotel and has free Wi-Fi air-conditioned rooms and an award-winning restaurant. All rooms are individually decorated in a modern style. All rooms feature a TV a luxury private bathroom and a spacious work area while some overlook the River Thames and Eton Bridge. Most room are located in the main house; there are also 4 historical annexes offering more private and secluded rooms. Set by the river The Brasserie at Sir Christopher Wren has been awarded for its modern European cuisine made using seasonal produce. Liked: Excellent location, short walk from the castle and right by Eton.Staff were very welcoming, especially the team in the bar/restaurant.Room clean and very comfortable bed.
Disliked: Leaving could have stayed another night!

Great hotel in a wonderful...

Liked: Warm welcome, amazing history of the hotel and the blend of old and new has been done well. Lunch was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, spacious and friendly.
Disliked: Room was okay but noise from outside in the morning, sounded like trollies and barrels was disturbing and woke us up. Windows would benefit from secondary glazing or something to limit noise.
