It was OK.
Liked: Quirky and unique, lively but not too noisy. The ensuite bathroom was ok.
Disliked: Breakfast charges were not clearly stated (or I didn't register, perhaps I was naïve to think it would be free); a sign at the breakfast room entrance would have been appreciated, and as a result I paid 7 euro after having a bowl of cereal, when I could have had the one I had in my room.Internet was lousy most of the time, barely usable (I had to switch to 4G most of the time), especially outside the common area where the signal was better. The shower had a malfunction and kept angling towards the wall, making showering a frustrating experience. It also didn't have anywhere to place the soap or shampoo. The room was a bit small for 3 bunkbeds (6 beds), and with windows from end to end (all rooms are like this), it felt there was no privacy, like in a Panopticon cell.

Good
Liked: The location is perfect for buying groceries or taking a walk to the center. Rooms kept fairly clean in the common areas.Breakfast is on point so is their cappuccino.
Disliked: I stayed at this hostel for 14 days and, unfortunately, the experience was quite frustrating due to repeated issues with staff communication and attitude. From the start, the reception staff seemed exhausted or disinterested. When I asked a simple question in English—“Hi, have you got any beers?”—I got a blunt “Yes” with no follow-up. I had to ask “What have you got?” before the person showed me just one brand. When I asked “Only one?” he then revealed a second. I finally had to ask, “Can’t you just tell me the names or show me what’s available?” Only then did he admit they had five brands. This lack of effort made me feel unwelcome. On another occasion, I had just bought a coffee at the bar and wanted a glass to drink my bottled water. I asked reception for a glass, and the staff member responded, “You know you can get glasses in the kitchen used by the guests.” I explained, “I'd use the kitchen if I were there, but I’m having coffee at the bar. Could you please hand me a glass?” I eventually got one, but the interaction felt needlessly difficult.Later, I asked to change my bed after several days. The staff member responded rudely: “We don’t change beds daily. Do you do it at home?” I replied that I had been there for 4 days already and was staying for two weeks, so I was simply requesting a basic service. Their tone was uncalled for.I also requested cleaning for the toilet and shower. Housekeeping came and mopped the floor, wiped the mirror, flushed the toilet—but left the shower untouched. I was present during the cleaning. When I pointed this out, the staff member replied dismissively: “It’s ok, it’s ok clean.”Overall, I found the staff’s attitude to be unhelpful, passive-aggressive at times, and lacking in hospitality. For a place hosting international travelers, basic courtesy and communication should be a given. Sadly, that was not my experience here.

Comfortable and clean
Liked: Moved here after a bad experience at a different hostel, and was very relieved to find it clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and even let me check in early. A bit farther from most of the tourist attractions than some other hostels, but worth it for the quality!
