Very good

Overpriced for quality but with...

Liked: - The staff was very friendly.- Location was very good, near supermarkets and metro station.- Comfortable bed.
Disliked: - Cleaniness was not good. A bit more cleaning would make the experience much better. Too much dust around (heating was specially dirty).- Demand for damage deposit does not make sense nowadays.- Maintenance was poor. For instance, the trash bucket was rusty. Other things seemed broken and were fixed without much care for appearence. - Very overpriced for what you receive, but okay for a short stay.

Liked: I liked that the room was equipped with a mini kitchen, including a kettle and a microwave (even though I didn’t use them). The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: It could be a bit cleaner. I found hair on the bedding and dust around, and overall, it didn’t feel thoroughly clean, especially in the corners.

Poor

Disliked: We had ants in the room. We asked to swap rooms but we were told all of the rooms had ants so there was no point. They did spray the room but this meant we had to spend the evening with the window and room door open due to the smell of fumes. We tried to close the curtains at night and realised they weren't fully attached to the curtain rail. We asked for them to be fixed but were told someone would deal with it the following day so we had to spend a night with the the curtains hanging off the rail. We went out for the day and returned for a shower before going to the theatre in the evening. We had no towels. We were told someone would bring us some. A member of staff came to our room and gave us 4 (2 each) of the small, rectangular towels that you put on the floor to stand on. Apparently they had run out of towels. When we complained that this wasn't acceptable, someone retrieved some towels from an unoccupied room. Also in our executive, double room the toilet roll holder was on upside down so the toilet roll kept falling off, the tap was loose, the fridge had 3 legs and was wobbly. Not a very good experience at all - needs much improved management.

Good

Liked: This accommodation was quite reasonable for the price and location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Having one card key for our room and main door was helpful. With most things all in good working order for self catering such as the good easy to use microwave, with all the necessary cutlery and crockery included. The bed was comfortable, and we had a quiet night with no noise. The back window view was nice, with being able to push the large window up to allow fresh air into our room. The toilet and shower worked well. On all accounts, we would be happy to stay again.
Disliked: Although overall the room was value for money, my view that some improvements could be made, with the small refrigerator in need of a thermostat, as I could not find it, and it seemed more like a cooler box but never had a good cool temperature. Also there was no toaster available but the quiet kettle was efficient. The shampoo in the bottle dispenser on the wall in the shower was difficult to use and understandably we were provided small squeezy bottles of shampoo to use instead, which were very good to use. Although we could have asked for more toilet paper, we made do with the one small roll that was provided.
