If you like having to...

Liked: View + Peacocks
Disliked: - Being charged without consent (MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR CLAIRITY, they phone you up after booking and charge without consent, there is also a NON REFUNDBALE TRIP so go somewhere else)- Hidden Fees (Forced room upgrade + Dog fee per night)- locked out of room (room door didn't work and we were forced to wait in the lobby and buy drinks until it was fixed, which it never was. We did get 1 comp round.- Splinters everywhere - Hurt my dogs foot when leaving room- no hot water- below average food- Unhelpful / Untruthful staff- Bad Management- The Room (2 single beds pushed together creating a hard point in the middle)- Aggressive Dogs allowed at hotel

Overall a really pleasant stay,...

Liked: We came for an overnight stay with breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The views are incredible and lovely rooms to have a drink and relax in. The room we were allocated was nice, however we could hear quiet conversations from an adjoining room, we mentioned this downstairs to the bar staff covering reception who quickly moved us rooms with no fuss. We were given recommendations on where to go and some routes to get there, when we returned we were greeted with the offer of a drink. The cocktails are beautiful, probably the best I’ve ever had (the non-alcoholic ones tasted delicious too) the prices are on the expensive side, however it’s to be expected for where it is. We had breakfast which was nice, good choice of fruit, yogurt, cereal, juices and the staff come and offer toast and hot drinks regularly, the menu for hot breakfast has a good variety and was really good! We found the staff to be really friendly and the chocolates on checkout offer a really nice touch to a lovely stay.

Exceptional

Liked: Location, staff and cleanliness were exceptional.
Disliked: Me being a vegetarian would suggest to expand their horizons in this category. There wasn't much veggie choice in breakfast, apart from that loved everything. Definitely coming back 😁.

Beautiful location, wonderful staff!

Liked: The location is amazing as are the staff. The food was of high quality. The decor and furnishings of the restaurant and reception rooms was tasteful and well presented.
Disliked: There were some areas suffering from a lack of maintenance which was a shame really as it detracted somewhat from the overall impression. It did not spoil our stay however!
