Exceptional

Liked: Great staff, large comfortable rooms, and awesome breakfast. Very nice reception and lounge area for relaxing. GABRIELA is wonderful.
Disliked: Sketchy neighborhood, but does have late night shops serving food (grilled chicken, pizza, pasta) till 12-1 AM and close to subway stop Marx Dormoy

Liked: Besides the room being a decent size? Nothing
Disliked: They charged us €150 deposit on top of the hotel rate. This wasn’t disclosed on the booking confirmation prior. There was no water or mini fridge in the room. When I initially asked at front desk they said there would be some and then quickly corrected themselves to say there wouldn’t be. Staff weren’t very friendly either , expect for one. Nobody takes you to your room, you are given a key and off you go. Outside of the hotel needs some work. It looks very run down and unattractive. I guess it’s not a standard practise and explains why they are only 3 starts but bed linens weren’t changed daily. Also found a cockroach in the shower.
