The Spotlight on Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Stadium

Stylish comfort steps from Seattle’s biggest stadiums

Modern, warm, and welcoming, the Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Stadium puts you right in the heart of Seattle’s sports and music scene. Located directly across from T-Mobile Park and next to Lumen Field, this hotel is ideal for fans looking to stay close to the action. With sleek rooms, a rooftop pool, and views over Elliott Bay, it blends downtown convenience with relaxing amenities.

All rooms offer free Wi-Fi, 55-inch flat-screen TVs, a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, making it easy to recharge after a show. The atmosphere is upscale yet casual, thanks in part to its on-site restaurant, Jimmy’s on First, which serves Pacific Northwest fare and craft cocktails in a lively setting.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything, and this hotel nails it. You’re literally across the street from major venues, which means you can skip the rideshare surge and walk to your concert. The rooftop pool and hot tub offer a chill wind-down after the show, and with light rail stations just one block away, getting to other venues or late-night bites is a breeze. The hotel’s 12:00 pm check-out gives you time to sleep in post-gig.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends looking for a fun, central base
- Solo travelers ticking off a dream show
- Couples planning a concert-filled weekend getaway
- Fans who want a quieter, upscale space to recharge
- Budget-conscious fans who still want location and comfort

Food and Drink Options

Jimmy’s on First serves up Pacific Northwest classics and a solid cocktail menu in a relaxed, pub-style atmosphere—great for pre-concert meals or post-show nightcaps. While there’s no 24/7 room service, the in-room microwaves and fridges help with late-night snacks. Breakfast is available and perfect for late risers who stayed out dancing.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself doesn’t host live music, you’re just steps from some of Seattle’s biggest venues. Walk to nearby bars and lounges in Pioneer Square or grab a drink at Jimmy’s before heading out. For a more laid-back evening, the rooftop pool area offers stunning views and a relaxing vibe.

What People Say

Guests love the unbeatable location for concerts and games, calling it “perfect for events at Lumen or T-Mobile.” The rooftop pool and hot tub get high marks for post-event relaxation, and the rooms are praised for being clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Many highlight how easy it is to get around thanks to the nearby light rail.

Areas for Improvement

Parking can be pricey, and some guests note that it fills up fast on game or concert nights. A few reviewers mention occasional crowd noise, especially on event days, but most say it didn’t affect their sleep.

The Bottom Line

If you want to be close to the music, with great amenities and easy access to Seattle’s venues, the Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Stadium hits all the right notes.

I was pleasantly and repeatedly pleased with the friendliness, helpfulness, cleanliness, and comforts of this hotel. It was perfect for our concert at the WAMU and made our special college graduates celebration SUPERB! THANK YOU and we'll be back!

Liked: Hospitality, cleanliness, comfort.
Disliked: The headboard needed a bit more cleaning, but otherwise perfect!

The hotel and restaurant staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I like how close we were to our venue and downtown. I will stay here again when attending another concert at ShowBox SODO. Thank you.

Liked: Our room was very comfortable; the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious!
Disliked: On our last day of stay, we waited for our shuttle for an hour - probably a combination of confusion, traffic, and a busy front desk. We were told 15 - 20 minutes for pickup - we would have walked if we knew it would be an hour.

Appreciated the free shuttle to the waterfront to eat and the great location near SODO concert venue. We walked back to our room easily. Restaurant was open until midnight so we ate a great late night snack as well. Clean, comfortable and quiet room with everything we needed, including great service.

Liked: Perfect location for concert.

I loved staying here, and will definitely be back!

Liked: Nice, clean rooms. Great pool/hot tub on the roof. Spacious rooms with large TV. Awesome location for any event in downtown, and a free shuttle for all guests to Seattle Center. Wonderfully nice staff and security.
Disliked: Late check out is deceiving. It really means you can stay one extra hour. Instead of checking out at noon, you can stay until one.
